Daily minimum wages range from $120 CAD to $152 CAD. Monthly minimum wages range from $3,600 CAD to $4,560 CAD. 

Minimum wages, excluding those based on piecework, vary by province and territory. For example, the federal minimum wage is set at $17.75 CAD per hour. Provincial rates include $15.00 CAD in Alberta and Saskatchewan,  $17.40 CAD in British Columbia, and $19.00 CAD in Nunavut.

Professionals in technology, finance, and nursing typically earn relatively more than professionals in other sectors.  

Starting salaries in technology range from $70,000 CAD to $90,000 CAD annually, while salaries for experienced technology professionals can exceed $100,000 CAD per year.  

Entry-level investment bankers tend to earn $80,000 CAD to $100,000 CAD per year.  

Registered nurses can expect to earn roughly $93,000 CAD per year.  

Salaries for lawyers, doctors, and senior management often exceed $150,000 CAD.
