Katherine Loranger

As the chief people officer, Katherine brings broad HR expertise that covers HR strategy, business partnership, talent acquisition, and learning and development.

Katherine leads Safeguard Global’s people strategy and development with over two decades of experience. Her strategic human resource planning allows Safeguard to hire the best talent available, while positioning Safeguard as an employer of choice. She actively manages talent, training, and benefits to help the company define and achieve its goals more quickly, efficiently, within budget, and with less business risk.

Prior to joining Safeguard Global, Katherine held roles with Mood Media North America, DMX, and Lammes Candies. She earned an MBA at St. Edward’s University and a Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of Arkansas.

A committed triathlete, Katherine has competed in a whopping 60 triathlons, including six full Ironman triathlons. She also loves fine dining, adventurous food, and has achieved multiple advanced wine certifications. In her home, meals are often coupled with a bottle from her wine cellar and shared with friends. Katherine has visited roughly 15 countries, and wine regions are among her favorite destinations. She is married and is also a dedicated dog mom.
