As of 2026, in Taiwan, laws governing hiring restrictions can be found in Labor Standards Act (articles 45 and 48), and the Employment Services Act, 2002 (article 47), while employment laws pertaining to nondiscrimination can be found in the People with Disabilities Rights Protection Act, 2007; Gender Equality in Employment Act, 2002 (articles 10, 12, and 13); and the Labor Standards Act (article 25). Other laws, legally binding precedents, and collective bargaining agreements may apply.
