What we’re most looking forward to at this year’s U.S. event
Workday Rising is a yearly event for Workday customers, partners and colleagues, as well as leaders in the HR industry. This year’s U.S. event is happening soon—October 14-17 in Orlando, Florida—so we’ve put together a list of what we’re looking forward to most while we’re there.
The human connection
With more than 11,000 expected attendees, there is no shortage of networking opportunities during this four-day event. From senior executives to business analysts, you can request a meeting with any attendee via the Workday Events app. And nothing beats one-on-one meetings, especially in today’s world where emails, texts and phone calls are the norm.
“My favorite part about Workday Rising is reconnecting face to face with our clients,” says Mike Levin, one of our Regional Sales Managers. “Rising gives me the environment to share new our initiatives that will help make the Workday and Safeguard Global payroll process smarter and more efficient. It’s also great to be able to connect prospective clients to our current clients and enable open conversations and sharing of best practices.”

It’s a star-studded lineup this year, which begins with a keynote from Jerry Seinfeld that’s sure to start the week off with a laugh. Superstars Lin Manuel-Miranda and Soledad O’Brien will also be there to give a leadership keynote and share insights about how to find opportunity, motivate teams and pave the way for a diverse and inclusive future.
Celebrities aside, our team always looks forward to hearing Workday leaders give their innovation speech, which introduces exciting updates for what’s next in the world of Workday. Even if you are unable to attend the event, you should take the time to register to watch the Workday Innovation Keynote and Product Strategy and Vision Keynotes via livestream or on demand.

Workday is constantly innovating and driving growth and they inspire others to do the same. The Rising event brings people together to discuss where the HR industry is heading.
