Senior Accountant – Growing real estate firm (hybrid)

I’m working with a growing Real Estate Private Equity firm in Utah County looking to hire a Sr. Accountant. This role will be responsible for operational and partnership accounting, as well as some treasury functions. This role is for someone with supervisory experience and a desire to coach and train team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

The following are the qualifications, skills and experience needed for this position:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or related field
• 1-3 years experience in Accounting
• CPA license preferred
• Knowledge of current tax code and US GAAP
• Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for managing all accounting for 8-10 entities
• Ensure accurate recording of transactions in accounting system in accordance with GAAP standards
• Monthly and quarterly consolidated financial reporting
• Financial statement audit assistance
• Detail review and approval of A/P invoice allocations
• Supervise treasury functions including setting up accounts appropriately within system
• Recommend and implement process and internal control improvements throughout department
• Manage banking transactions
• Provide monthly reporting for investors and stakeholders
